Volantes Technical, on behalf of our UK Based FIxed Wing Client have the permanent role of Continued Airworthiness Manager available.
Job Summary
This is an exciting opportunity for a credible and experienced candidate who understands the Technical and Regulatory responsibilities of the role and can also develop a flexible and efficient environment that matches our dynamic and evolving business model and culture. The successful candidate will form part of key decision-making processes that align to their main responsibilities in adherence to Part M/CAMO requirements, with effective interface with all Part 145 activities and ensuring a smooth operation by delivering on-time reliable and serviceable aircraft.
They will have previously held a Form 4 for a CAM or Deputy CAM and be deemed to be acceptable for the position by interview with the CAA.
Responsibilities Technical
On behalf of the Operator be responsible for the continuing airworthiness of our aircraft
? Ensuring the organisation always complies with the applicable continuing airworthiness management requirements ? Ensure compliance is proactively managed and early warning signs of non-compliance are documented and acted upon
? Ensuring the continuing airworthiness and serviceability of our aircraft is in accordance with all Part M – Sub Part C Continuing Airworthiness tasks
? Be the main point of contact with the CAA for all Continuing Airworthiness Regulatory matters
? Ensure that all interface contracts specifically with sub contracted Part M and contracted Part 145 organisations meet all the regulatory and business requirements
? Ensure that the CAME is always up to date and all subsequent amendments are controlled and distributed accordingly
Management
Ensure financial control and accountability in adherence with departmental budgets and aligned with the business strategy
? Ensure relevant, concise communication and updates to all stakeholders within the organisation within specified timeframes
? Organise, supervise and develop your direct reports
? Encourage a positive work environment and culture for all employees
? Identify and manage all hazards within the Part M environment and effectively integrate with the organisations management system
? Provide valuable input and contribution to Senior Management and seek to being a key member of the team
? Be an advocate for the importance of the Part M function throughout the organisation
Qualifications and Skills
? Meet all the requirements of Part M (AMC M.A. 706 4.1 through 4.9)
