Volantes Technical are currently looking to recruit a CAMO Engineer for our UK Based Client.

This is a Permanent role.

As a CAMO Engineer, you will play a key role within an ambitious and dynamic team focusing on airworthiness, ensuring that all continuing airworthiness requirements are carried out to a high professional standard

Duties of the CAMO Engineer

  • Application and follow-up of modification & repair approvals.

  • Management of maintenance program updates and currency.

  • Management of aircraft technical administration.

  • Management of availability and currency of approved data.

  • Work pack creation and issuing.

  • Aircraft maintenance forecasting and planning, working alongside the Planning Manager.

  • Monitor and update documentation; tech logs, tracking system, etc.

  • ARC inspection work packs processing.

  • Frequent technical coordination with the Engineering team.

  • Work closely with Engineering and Quality ensuring compliance in all areas.

  • Create, complete and comply with company paperwork and procedures.

  • Ensure all maintenance is carried out IAW the AMP.

  • Ensuring the base complies with Part M and that maintenance paperwork is completed in accordance with internal guidelines and legal and internal requirements.

  • Overseeing and adapting health and safety procedures and processes and an active part in continuous improvement.

Role & Responsibilities
 

  • Work closely with Engineering and Quality ensuring compliance in all areas.

  • Ensure all maintenance is carried out IAW the AMP.

  • Ensure the base complies with Part M and that maintenance paperwork is completed in accordance with internal guidelines and legal and internal requirements.

  • Provide 24/7 AOG technical support on an on-call basis to company aircraft/3rd party aircraft.

  • Update the Continuing Airworthiness Management Exposition (CAME), ensuring always up to date, followed by the team and in accordance with EASA requirements.

  • Tracking, investigating and reporting any parts issues

 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience within an EASA Part M environment.

  • Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.

  • Knowledge of EASA Part-M, Part-145 requirements and national regulations.

  • Form 4 holder advantageous but not essential, must work towards.

  • Experience from a technical career in aviation; King Air or other similar  aircraft experience is advantageous but not essential.

  • IT proficiency, very good MS-Office skills and experience of using computer maintenance Programs. Experience of CAMP systems advantageous.

  • Problem-solving and good decision-making skills.

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, team orientation, stress resistance, flexibility.

  • Enthusiastic and motivated individual who thrives in a dynamic work environment proficient at meeting deadlines and tackling challenges.
